‘Todd’ grew up in Marshalltown, IA and lived there his entire life until heading off to Pella to attend Central College. He graduated from Central with a B.A. degree in Business. Through a series of events he ended up being a youth director at Calvary Reformed Church in Des Moines for 4 years after college. In 2001 he felt the call to pastoral ministry and with his wife, Jodi moved to Pasadena, CA so he could attend Fuller Theological Seminary where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity Degree in 2005. He arrived at Cedar Hills Community Church in 2005.

He loves spending time with his family and friends and following the Iowa Hawkeyes. He is passionate about the outdoors and traveling around the country to our nation’s national parks. Pastor Todd has a heart for the youth and helping them move through the life stage of Jr. and Sr. High and into a deeper connection with Christ. He sees the key to discipleship as being in authentic relationships with others in a small group community.
